We know it can be quite stressful to leave your pet behind when you have to leave town. This goes doubly if they are feeling unwell or are recovering from surgery or other veterinary procedure. At Bullard Animal Hospital, we are here to put your worries to rest.
We provide complete general boarding services for all of our patients, and medical boarding services for pets with conditions or medical issues that require extra care that is beyond the scope of a traditional boarding facility.
You can depend on our experienced team to provide your pet with a safe, comfortable home away from home while they relax and recover.
Every morning, the dogs boarding with us get some outside time before their breakfast. While they get fresh air, our team cleans, disinfects and stocks their kennels with fresh linens.
Depending on their physical capacity and ability, we walk the dogs who stay with us on a regular schedule.
Your dog will also be able to have supervision all throughout their stay with us—during walks and while resting. In the evening, we serve your pup dinner and take them out on one final walk before bedtime.
Your cat will be fed according to your specifications and their requirements, to ensure their routine is the same as it is at home.
We provide your cat with daily one-on-one interaction (as long as they want it!) including scratches, play and snuggles. We will frequently check their litter boxes for both cleaning and disinfection.
Additionally, we refresh linens and clean your kitty's room daily. Our cat boarding area is separated from the dog boarding area to ensure your kitty feels relaxed and safe while they stay with us.
Our expert veterinary team will monitor your pet closely while they stay with us as part of our medical boarding services.
We will be sure to administer any medications they require right on time and as close to their schedule at home as possible
During their stay, each patient is continually monitored for any changes in medical conditions, as well as signs of anxiety, fear or stress. Our veterinarian will address any concerns.
You can rest easy knowing that because your pet is under the care of our expert and compassionate veterinary team, they will receive prompt and knowledgeable care if their condition worsens or they develop a health issue.
At Bullard Animal Hospital, we are serious animal lovers. Our whole team loves giving your pet all of the attention and care they deserve all throughout their stay with us.

We've got everything your pet needs for a fun, recuperative and safe stay, including the following accommodations and amenities:
We have a large facility and are able to accommodate several animals at once, provided you give us sufficient notice.
Depending on the circumstances, we may be able to board family members (canine/canine or feline/feline) together.
Boarding fees vary based on the duration of the stay, the size of the pet, and special medical requirements. That said, our pricing is affordable and competitive, and we welcome you to contact us for a quote.
All pets must be dropped off or picked up during regular office hours. Reservations are recommended, especially for holidays and summer weekends. During these times, we recommend that you call 2-3 weeks in advance to increase the chance that a spot will be available.
Food: We provide food for pets staying with us. However, please feel free to bring enough of your pet's regular food to last the duration of the stay.
Medication: If your pet takes any medication, bring it along for our staff to administer.
Toys: If your pet has a special toy or two, bring them along.
We will be happy to administer any medications your pet requires according to their regular schedule while at home.
Yes, feel free to call us during your pet's stay for updates. If there is a problem, we will contact you via the emergency contact information you provide.
Each animal is different. To prepare for your pet's stay with us, we'll take the following steps to ensure that we can meet their unique needs.
Call us to book, and to discuss details about your pet and your boarding needs. A member of our team will be happy to to coordinate your booking.
Please note that, due to the nature of our accommodations, we do not accept unaltered dogs. Pets must be up to date with all vaccinations and free of fleas and ticks to stay at our facility.
We want to be absolutely sure that we are a good fit for your pet before an extended stay. The trial stay consists of a full day of daycare where we can take the time to assess your pet's temperament and make sure they fit in with the pack.
On the day you drop your pet off with us, there are a few steps you can take to help reduce any stress your pet may feel.
Spend some extra time with your pet beforehand, and make sure they get some vigorous exercise so that they are feeling calm. When you arrive at our facility, stay calm, cheerful and confident during the separation.
For pets that are not on a special diet, we provide premium pet food to any pet that doesn't have food provided by their owners.
We recommend including enough of your pet's usual food to last the duration of their stay with us since that is easier on their gastrointestinal system.
